Default having o2 sensor probelms...bad placement on STD manifold?

So i just finished my setup on my d15b7. It contains a STD manifold with adapter plate, TD04L (wrx), walbro 255 hp, 12:1 fmu, 3" exhaust. I keep getting cel code 1, i replaced the O2 sensor and cleared the ECU and after drivngn for a little while it pops up again. I am wondering if the sensor is getting too hot in the stock location on the STD manifold. Has anyone had any trouble with this before? Also any other ideas are welcome. Thanks!

It's generally not suggested to run an O2 sensor there. It gets way too hot for it. The EGT's on my car can get upwards of 1500 degrees, well above what is probably suggested on an O2 sensor. I would plug that hole with an old O2 sensor, and mount one down farther.

Any one know where i can get a 18m X 1.5 bolt to plug it? I'd rather not stick an old O2 sensor in there.

Maybe your getting a O2 CEL because the 12:1 FMU is increasing the fuel too much, and causing the O2 to read over it's limit. It's just an idea. My O2 is on the manifold and it's fine after a few years.
