12 to 15 psi is a no go with a FMU. Get yourself some 450c dsm injectors and do some searching in the engine management forum.
Post porn too. >:( |

Re: having alittle trouble im new at this
www.moates.net (sorry xenocron@$19) $15 chip kit = 1/4 price of fmu
If I can operate it anyone can, it just takes a little messing around with, understanding how to tune willhelp you understand soo much more about you're setup and car. We are sooooo lucky to have these tuning tools available to us its dissapointing that people still use FMU's, AFC's or especially other engine management like e-manage, or aem. |
Re: having alittle trouble im new at this
ok and who is going to burn the chip ? desoder your stock chip and resoder the new one the tune it you need a wideband, a laptop, yada yada the list goes on

Re: having alittle trouble im new at this
I'd feel much better just sending the ecu out to xenocron and have it come back running on a basemap. I rock basemaps, and probably always will. O0

Re: having alittle trouble im new at this
he's obiously got a computer, I tuned my first turbo setup on a desktop by watching my afr's and busting out a calculator You can get a willems for less than $30, hell people throw em away you could prolly get one alot cheeper than that, Borrow a wideband if u have to. damnit that alot of boost to trust a FMU with. Maximize power and longevity of the setup, I dont understand why you wouldnt want to.
If you are going to run an fmu just keep the camera rolling, rape every panty ripper like its ur last, at least you should get a few good pics/vids out of it. |
