Default has anyone tried this?

alright, so i think im correct in saying that atleast most of the honda's came with the auto tranny cooler right? built into the radiator?

well has anyone tried this.... only on a manual turbo car

running a oil feed line to the inlet of the cooler, and then one from the outlet of the cooler to the turbo? or from the turbo to the cooler, then the cooler to the oil pan.....? anyone think this would be an effective way to cool the oil.......?

I think they call that an "oil cooler"

That's the way it's usually done, but you shouldn't route the oil directly into the turbo. Cool the entire engine by routing the cooled oil back into it. Tranny oil coolers are often small. You can always drop $100 and get a decent cooler from Jegs or Summit...I use a PermaCool

you'd have to cool it before going into the turbo, else how will it drain back to the oil pan?

200 degree water temp, 240 degree oil temp, not enough heat transfer IMHO.

Besides, every automatic Honda needs a aftermarker tranny cooler!
