Default Has anyone really used PVC pipework?

In the FAQ, it says you could even use PCV pipes for a real gheto setup. Has anyone really used PVC pipework though? I'd have thought it would melt

It was used in the last setup I tuned. Seemed to hold 8psi fine on an rhb5, d16z6.

Thanks. I think I might give it a shot then. I can get some nice black pvc piping cheap and use some spare samco couplers to keep the inside smooth. Beats spending shed loads (it's not cheap in the uk) for bling bling heatsoaking stainless stuff.

pvc is pressure rated and pressure rated abs (the black stuff) costs more than aluminum per foot
