Has anyone ran 404 with turbo?

Hi, i made a good 165+whp (stock bottom end) with my motor and now im going turbo. I did a lot of research and couldnt find any good answers. Has anyone ran 404's with turbo yet? pro/cons? I did many research and couldnt find anyone who has yet.
BTW, these cams do not idle rough/dies out on u if u know how to tune ur car. These cams are PERFECT for dailly driven, as i did. Idles like stock at 900-1000rpm's and great power band on top end with a fully built head.
the lift is exelent IMO for turbo, as for the duration is less (perfect for turbo) IMO and should not denotate with right dial up time with camgears, and good tunning with crome/uberdata on a wideband. Its on a super T3 (soon to be prescision sc61) w/full race manifold/tial wastegate with 6.8psi spring.

any inputs would be great. thanks

You said it yourself. As long as the overlap is adjusted using cam gears and you tune it well, you can expect a pretty decent power band from them. Eventually when I get around to finishing building this LS head I have I too will be running the 404's. Crower does make the 402-T's which are specifically designed for the LS' turbo guy's, but have a shorter duration than the 404's. If you look at the 404 specs the duration is actually shorter than a stock type R cam, but with alot more lift. You will be fine running them, just be sure to dial them in correctly.

Also, I'd look into a good P&P, springs and retainers when running those (like you mentioned). Anything you can do to free up airflow in an LS head will help out.

Re: Has anyone ran 404 with turbo?

yeah thanks, i just see no reason why or why not running them. Im planing on cranking it up soon and drive it down 30miles to get them tunned. right now my car is set in and my cam gears are dyno'd tunned already so, there should be no problem cranking up the motor wiht the turbo set up right? i mean wut if my cam gears are set at 0,0 on both?
