Default hard start

does anyone has to rev the engine to start it after putting a turbo, on? and also as I approach 5K, the a/f guage will drop to, lean and the car will just drag, it seems like I also need a new head gasket, how the thick ones usually cost?

What engine and what are you using for fuel management? List your turbo setup also.

And what are the settings on the VAFC? Did this all of a sudden happen or did you just put this turbo setup on?

the highest boost I get is 5 psi, the problem started after turbo installed, the 5k miles engine drag happens when the vtec engaging but levels out while on, setings I all set at -38, but later I change 1000 to -25, and the I try to adjust while driving to see difference because the car only lean sometimes, and rich other times, question what does the ne points do?

the ne points are the rpm points you will be correcting for (1k, 2k, 3k, 4k, etc). sounds like you're set a little rich to start, but i would get a wideband and tune that thing before you blow it...it doesn't sound right.
