GTI 1.8T on a DOHC ZC?
hi guys I have a question for yas... I came into possession of a complete engine from an '03 GTI (20th anniversary). I've already done a search on this, and all I found ws someone selling a turbo. Since I have a CRX wih a ZC, I was wondering if the turbo would fit the motor? if so, what all needs to be done to get it right? (meaning how involved is this install compared to other turbo installs. Also, with injectors, zdyne, 2.5" exhaust, and intercooler, what kind of numbers am I looking at? Last question...anyone know where I can gert full specs on the turbo itself? I just need to know how fast this thing spools and how much power does it really make....this isn't a daily driver, but it's not a track car either. Thanks in advance for any help

Give it away cause those **** snails are retarded. Retard flange, small and too much work to make that thing useable. Plus read, read, read and read some more cause we all had to do it and learn what works and what doesn't.

well, I have the entire motor/tranny setup, with only the plastic cover and brackets for it missing. The cars got less than 8000 miles on it Can anyone ballpark how much I could get for that setup? I can't seem to find any places that sell Volkswagen motors like they do for Hondas like hmotors or niponmotors.

go checkout VWvortex.com engien & trans classifieds section
you could finance a built turbo sohc setup or b-series turbo setup with the money you make off of it
and still have money to fix whatever breaks after you are boosted
