this is stupid. this turbo isnt even ball bearing (no idea why u want cermaic anywhere near your turbo either) and it isnt even a GT35 killer. It will spool slow and make power with about 2000rpms to spare.

Further more, the guy who sold it to you is laughing all the way to the bank because of all the money he just made for a peice of junk..

If, and i mean if, the remote chance that it is ball bearings (not that i think it is) You are up for 1k to rebuild it - new centre section and wheels, so ur killer deal just turned sour.

The GTS61 has a nickname of the gt35/sc61 killer, it does have a dual ball bearing option but isnt standard. But for 130 shipped for a turbo like that? even though its blown? thats still a ------- screaming deal. You can rebuild the turbo for around 125 bucks, and get it balanced for around 40. You have yourself a badass 650 dollar turbo for under 300 bucks.. I think the guy got a great deal and a perfect sized turbo for his setup.

It can have whatever name it likes. its not a going to outdo a GT35r, period. Either way this guy thought he had BB turbo when he started this thread, and when he bought it, so i stick to the above.

ya know what a off the shelf GT35r is also around 1200 dollars, a GTS61 and GT35r have almost an identicle compressor map, mainly because the compressor wheel is the same. ITS uses an inconel exhaust wheel which is suppose to help spool time. The GT35r is a bit more effiecent, however I dont think its worth all the extra dough. But like I said.. 130 shipped is a smoking deal,
