GT28rs vs GT2871R
Debating on buying a GT28RS vs GT2871R.. Based on the compressor map, I really don't see a downside to the GT2871R.
They're both expensive turbos.
Looking for something that spools down low better than my t3/t04b. My street boost pressure is under 14psi.

Re: GT28rs vs GT2871R
Is not that simple:
THere's 3 models of 2871R..... the 48, 52, and 56 trim. they flow 400, 460 and 475 HP.
but that's with the 0.86 a/r turbine. THey all have the 0.64 a/r turbine available that will make it spool quicker at the expense of some hp.
THe GT2860RS come in only one trim. It's good for 320 hp with the 0.64 a/r turbine and 360HP with the 0.86 a/r.
MSRP is 1300-1400$ on those.
