hey guys. i was just starting to put a turbo kit together for my 94 ls. i was wondering if any of you guys have bought this type of bov? do you think its worth it?

hmm interesting. im gonna bet its the exact same bov. maybe thats why they came out with the new bov. their patent expired on it? i dunno. but it looks great and the price is awesome

It's kinda hard to mess a BOV up thou. Only thing you wouldn't, if anything, be satisfied with
is the sound. I would buy it personally if i were in your position

yeah i bet it doesnt leak or anythign but the sound is what really makes the type s soo popular. I have a 1G dsm bov too csaddict

 

I would trade up for that lovely Type S sound!

 

i got the fake K s ssqv bov from egau and it sounds money

 

where i work sells them
i`ve completely tear it down, put it side by side with the real one and they are like 99.9% identical to each other.
the real one has a Slightly softer(10% or so) spring but the fake one work just fine.
other than that the only difference is the color of the valve :P (copper on real and black on fake)
oh and they sound exactly the same too.
