Greddy Type S BOV....2 vacuum lines?

I bought an eBay greddy type s bov and it has 2 fitings for 2 lines. I know one goes to the intake manifold and i read that the other one goes to the pre-turbo pipe? and just to clarify the top fitting goes to intake manifold and the bottom to the pre-turbo? thanks.

unless ur doin a low low boost app, hookin up the bottom line helps it blow off easier for less chane of compressor surge. but if ur boostin enough leave it alone

that's about normal for daily drivers. jus try it out without the second one, if it seems like a lil sergy... either loosten the top adjustment screw, or hook up that lower one, jus adjust it so it dont leak under boost, if it serges then hook up that pressure source on the bottom

in the pic they have the bov piped into something... wtf is it piped into? (where it blows off too)

I thought the lower one was just a vent so the diaphram could move, you can hook it up to the air intake side so you have filtered air.

you can do that for maf systems or just if you want it quite, stock cars are like this.

nope... it takes its air like the wg, positive pressure which helps lift the diaphram which reduces compressor surge cuz it actually opens sooner, gives you more of a whistle rather then a flutter.

for mine to work right I had to take out one of the springs(smaller one).
