Default Greddy kit...should I ??

My car is a D16z6 OBD1 crx with AC, I would like to keep AC.

I'm thinking of going with the Greddy kit looking for feed back on this kit(intercooled and non)

Prices what is a good price? $1500 non intercooled?
What about a used kit what do they run for?

I don't really want a junk yard turbo kit, I know there cheaper but I really am tired of messing around with my car all the time, I really want to tune it and drive it. And I don't want all different types of tubing running all over and ghetto piping etc,

I'm only looking for 6psi and most likely will have to do non intercooler untill i can figure out how to run one with my AC

I just need some feed back and info from guys that know what there doing when it comes to this cause I'm a newbie turbo guy.

i hear wut kind of situation your in, i tore my AC out, your probally wondering why but it dropped at least 50lbs off of the car and dont use as much fuel..

About the Intercooler Question..YES deffintally get a intercooler, it dosent half to be a HUGE front mount like a HKS that costs over $1,200.00 unless you got the money for that. or do it Homemadeturbo style: just stop by your local junkyard and look around for a 90-91 mx-6 turbo..it has the IHIB turbo and "ta-da" your in luck a really nice large but not to extreme front mount intercooler on it its like 24"x10"x2.5" and the inlet and outlet are on the righthand side top and bottom. its a great avarage intercooler.

On my civic i have the IHIB turbo and the compression housing is on the driverside, which it leaves the compression housing and goes like..8 incvhes then its directly into the Front mount intercooler "the mx-6 one that ive been talking about" then exits out the bottom outlet then goes 90* left then runs across the bottom cross member then up through the hole where my INJEN Extreme Cold Air Intake "which i paid like $400.00 dollars for the dam thing and did i turbo and have no use for it"used to go then up tp a Greeddy BOV then into the Intake where the magic is made

Basicaly my point of advice here today is
INTERCOOLER = YES
A/C = NO "but if u leave it on your gonna get robbed for power"...

I know it gets hot as ***** in the summer but when u can jump on it real quick and take off u get cooled down pretty quick.. Im out <<PEACE>>

haha I gotcha man, I'll try and work the AC thing as for intercooler I might have to go junkyard style, I have seen one not sure what its from but it had the inlet and outlet on the same side of the intercooler and it looked like a good size as well, might look into that one.

Still wondering about price? can I just get a really good yunkyard kit for cheaper will all the same benifits of the Greddy kit, like the Fuel management, everything I need included and the fact that its new?

I really not into making on, even though it would be alot cheaper but I rather spend the 500 more to get a full Greddy kit or even one thats used but with proper piping.

Question Anyone out there have AC in a CRX with a Turbo

For $1500 you can put together a nice looking custom setup with an intercooler and decent fuel management. I would just read around on the site for a while and you might change your mind about building a kit yourself. You can also use some parts off pre fab kits if you want.

ya thats what I'm thinking, I just don't want any problems and new is always good, and relible and for not much more I think 1500 is a wicked price. It wont be for a while so I will read post for the next few weeks and go from there. I really want boost so I will get it just what setup I'm not sure yet 70% Greddy kit, with intercooler and low compression headgasket, or just kit and then intercooler and head gasket later

Johnyquest
I like the manifold ya Sohc Vtec I like it, the only think is I have a crx with a D16z6 so I'm worried about room. I know I need to get ride of the ac fan and cut the cross member alittle and it will bolt right up thats cool with me. I really care less about my AC its just I want to keep it cause it works, I have the belt off now and the fan so I guess I will need to do it hook up the kit and I'm set, I might even mod the down pipe on the Greddy kit so that I don't need to but the cross member. well see what it looks like.
