What does it take to make the 92-95 greddy kit fit on a 97 dx with y8 intake manifold? and what if any mods to put a y8 manifold on my y7? thanx for the help

 

I put a greddy kit on a 99 D16y7. The only thing I had to do was saw off a piece of one of the charge pipes, and make a little setup to get the chrage pipe to my y7 TB (which sits on top of the manifold, unlike the y8 manifold which is a side mounted TB). I ended up just mating the greddy supplied charge pipes to a piece of an old cold air intake that I had and it worked fine. You will also need to get a wiring diagram for the blue box (if that is what you are going to use). I believe there is a post about that in the FAQ of turbod16.com


As for changing intake manifolds, I have no idea.
