ok i got this turbo free from my auto teacher. it is off of a 84 chrysler 2.2. what i am wondering is what is up with that weird looking vaccume thing by the air inlet is? i looked around and read some chrysler pages but couldnt find any thing. well here is a diagram i found, sorry no actual pictures but can some one help me please. thanks alot.

the vacuum thing by the inlet is the blow off valve built into the compressor housing.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i never thaught about that or seen that before, thanks. do you think taht this would be alright to use for my first turbo setup?

Only if you are running it on a big block. Otherwise, it might not be waaaaay to small. :1
