Should be fine, but its not going to like being spun up in the higher rpms. Might be choking it at that point, not sure because I don't have a map for it on an H22, but maybe like a 50 trim t3/t04b if packaging is tight or the t3/t04e if space isn't a big issue. Not sure of space because you didn't name a chassis....

CRX space is an issue...

the t04b housing will give you a bit more clearance in that case, even though it is slightly older technology wise. Shouldn't be hard to get a used one for like $300-$350 or so. Or just pick up one of those tbird turbos and swap it to a t04b compressor.

I may be a little off here, but I don't think that turbo will make that much power at only 7 psi....it seems a little small. If you could have anything you want, I would say to go with a stage 3 wheel on the turbine, and run a T4 compressor instead of that little super 60 T3. But, hey, we don't always get the choice. It will probly feel pretty good, but it's going to start to bottleneck at the top end. Revving high up alot is going to overspin that turbo and really shorten the life of it alot...

your goals contradict themselves.
275 hp shouldnt be much of an issue with an h22. but if you want topend or something that will make power till redline, that turbo is way too small.
id get at least a t3/t4 60 trim and run a lower boost level if you want only 275 hp with an h22. that motor is just way too big for that turbo.

i've got a H on boost with t3/t4e .60 .63 57trim and i see full boost around 3500, running 6lbs. I threw in my manual boost controller in and saw 15lbs half throttle come in at 3500. i dont think u will be satisfied with just a t3, it also leaves you with no room play with. just my .02

yup, that turbo is ------- small for a 2.2.

that turbo on a sohc f22 spooled up 10psi before 3k and pulls till 6k, dont know if it was dying off becuase it still pulled pretty hard.

get a stage 3 wheel on that turbine, and a t4 compressor and you'll be golden.
