To let the pressure escape from the WG, so it won't stay open after you let off the throttle.

i have an ebay one, works mint. mine came from voodoo performance or something though. i've had two of them, nether of them let me down. i'd rather spend $15 to have one delivered to my door than $12 having to go out and find all the parts an assemble it.

search nxs manual boost controller on ebay, its hardware store stuff for $12 shipped. thats what i have, works perfect.

id get the one with the link for 10 bucks on ebay it cost me more that that to make mine and that one looks better :X

i got a turboxs boost tee, i like it becuase the adjustment is fine, and easy to setand psi you want.
