I think a port an polish job helps any car. And is worth having.
Spending tons of money on geting it done is a waste.
Get a grinder and a few magazine articles from Joe Mondelo for 100 bucks and do it your self.

 

I must ask...would porting off too much hurt low-end torque? I think I bent my valves and going to be pulling my cylinder head for new valves maybe....I probbly port while I'm goin' thru all the trouble.
