good or bad idea?

Guys I have a 88 CRX DX with 209K, MPFI swap, I have 180 of compression in all four cylinders, now i was wondering if is good the idea of boosting this engine? Also would it be safe if I boost it without an intercooler?
I dont wanna boost more than 6 psi, my goal is to boost this engine and nothing more, this car is my daily driver, i use it everyday and i put a lot of miles on it.

setup that i own.
14b
hf manifold
managment: ghetodyne

Re:good or bad idea?

$15 an hour seems really low for the dyno. As crx88Si said, you should use an intercooler even if you are only boosting 5 or 6 psi. Just pick up a side mount, there are a couple for sale here for $50. That way you will have one when you're ready to turn up the boost.

If you get a wideband O2 you can tune it on the street, just retard your timing to a safe level than tune your A/F until you get that right. Once you have a safe A/F you can begin advancing the timing and adjusting A/F accordingly until you reach a good level
