going from SMIC to FMIC, hp and 1/4 gains???
Hey right now i have my ghetto fab set up where my DSM SMIC is where my battery used to go and that ---- gets WARM as ----!!!! even after 15 mins of driving... i did get an AUDI 5000 FMIC with NO bent fins at the local junkyard for $25, my question is how much hp and time off my 1/4 will i gain?
i've heard ~30hp and probably .5 seconds off my 1/4 time.. any ideas? |

yeah it's not really going to give or add hp but allow you to run maybe a few more lbs. of boost safer and make ur setup safer, allowing you to get more hp, :)

damn i'm having the same exact problem man. I hate my heatsink setup :(. FMIC is coming soon. Do you guys think that this setup can cause your coolant temp to rise? Mine has been rising under boost and overheats like a bitch now. This is the first day i have the turbo on :(. I don't think that hot air coming in can cause this, but my friend thinks it is and i'm just making sure.
