Default Going ghetto D16z6

The guys at my local shop are hookin me up. Im buying a 14b for 75$ and a manifold for 35$ but i need that adapeter because its from a HX or something? ANd then some 450cc injectors for// i forget how much he said, Then he's giving me a deal on a SMALL but brand new intercoolr 18" by 9" and 3" thick. For like 325$$$ , Im hoping this sets me good power for running maybe like 7 or 8 pounds. But wondering in the long run how fucked its gonna leave my pistons or rings?

As long as i keep boost low ?? SHould it last a while ? And i guess i will needs a engine management. But im new to the forced induction stuff.. i read about the ubadata or whatever. i guess it seems like a good thing. How hard is it to get a hold of and what are good prices.. " isnt it just a program that you use with STock ECU ?

Dude, is that intercooler smaller then the JRC 6in? If so your getting ripped.... Search around and look in the fuel management section and you will find some prices and how-tos ect.

good luck

But why spend that much $ on a I.C. if ur not running a lot of boost? U can find a cheaper 1 if u look around a little longer.

You'll have to hack away at your bumper and rebar to fit that fmic. As for uberdata talk to Projekteg about it, I think he has a few chipped ecus. Keep researching and you will find all your answers.

here we go again.

Your car will last as long as 1) the tuning allows it too 2)long as the boost stays where its tuned at 3) How religous you are with maintenance.

Thank you, com again.

you can get a larger intercooler for way cheaper than that.
