GM 3bar and s300. Having problems: CEL and shutting down

Trying to get my car prepared for my tune date on 10/9 and trying to finalize a few things before I go.

I recently got the car back running after a full overhaul of the turbo setup that was on the car and upon starting the car, s300 was reading full 3bar of boost at idle. I inspected my GM 3bar MAP and noticed that the surrounds inside the plug around the "pins" were completely GONE. If I were to put my hand on the plug and allow correct connection, s300 and the car would return to a normal idle state.

After seeing what the car did with the current plug, I replaced the plug and wired it according to Hondata's website. I also double checked that it had been previously wired that way and it was. After the plug was replaced, I waited for my new battery.

New battery came in and I got the chance to start the car this weekend. The car starts and idles pretty well but when going down the road, throws a CEL for a MAP, AF goes to absolute CRAP, stumbles, shuts off. You have to jump start the car going down the road to get it come back to life. It will run another 4-500yds and does it again.

I had to head back to my apartment for school so I have not been able to check proper operation of the MAP with a voltmeter per instructions from Hondata but during the down time, I figured I would turn to you guys.

Does anyone have any idea on what could be the problem here? Does this sound like I will be needing to find another MAP or is there something I am overlooking with all of this?

You input and opinions are greatly appreciated!

If you need any info on the build, I will be more than happy to supply!

TIA guys!

without a tune the computer doesnt know that there is a 3 bar map sensor installed. the stock map sensor reads 0-5v and the 3 bar map sensor also reads 0-5v. at low vacuum the stock map sensor is going to read close to 5v. at low vacuum the 3 bar map sensor is going to read ~1.5 volts so you can see where the computer will not be adding enough fuel because it thinks you have high vacuum(less load).

Without a tune? You can choose what MAP you are running in the s300 and as long as the scalar and offset is right for the given MAP, it will work correctly.

You do not have to have "a tune" in order to run any other MAP outside of stock.

s300 is a piggy back! im with you now. the only other thing i can think of is back probe the signal wire and see what signal is being sent to the computer. if the sensor is reading correctly then there may be a s300 problem.
