Some guages tend to be more accurate than others. Autometer is a good guage. I've also hear Sunpro's guages are good too.

Sunpro? The one they sell at Autozone? They look cheap as ---- to me.
Everybody makes gauges, but if you really look at what the real racers are using, you'll see Autometer, and Stewart Warner. Does that mean something? Yes.

Autometer
I don't care how many professional racers use them, I've had autometers give me innaccurate data more then once. There boost gauges are worthless, mine was reading several PSI off, which can mean a lot on a stock block. There air fuel gauge is just a light show, but most people say that. No problems with there oil pressure gauge, but I recommend a Greddy or even a Apexi electronic guages if you want a lot better accuracy. They'll cost you a bit more but thats the price you pay for quality.

Autometer are the best gauges out there becuase of their accuracy and craftsmanship. If you are on a budget than I'd reccomend Autogauge. they are still made by Autometer but just not as expensive.

Greddy, HKS, Delfi gauges are way too overpriced and not worth it. The only feature they have over autometer is the replay and warning light features. (I still wouldn't buy gauges that read in only metric)

I guess i'll just stick with autometer. I probibly should skimp out on the thing that monitors the boost(kinda' important).

I'd like to know how you came up with the measurement that made you decide the Autometer gauge was off by a few psi. What method did you sue to determine this?

Greddy is overpriced crap IMO. What are you getting? A popular name? Why is their ---- so overpriced? What makes an intercooler worth $1000 that is designed exactly the same as one that costs 75% less? Autometer has been around for a long time and has proven itself in the racing industry over and over again. Look inside of damn near every professional race car and they have an arangement of Autometer gauges to monitor a very expensive engine and I don't think they would use just any gauge to do the job.
