Ive pillaged manny t3s at the parts yard and have never found one to have a gasket.

Re:GASKETS
Yeah I don't think I've ever seen one either. You should be alright without a gasket there. The flange meeting the housing makes a pretty tight seal anyway. Any carbon buildup should seal it right up.

cool... thought so... thanks

Re:GASKETS
I thought about this and was afraid that with a block-off flange some gasses might escape from the wastegate hole thru the cracks (you know, pass gas?). I don't know which he was referring to, but there might be a difference in using a block-off and a regular swing-valve assem, where it doesn't matter at all. So this is not an issue, even with a block-off flange?

Re:GASKETS
I've heard of people using lots of things--cut tin, several layers of aluminum foil, etc. with no problems.

Re:GASKETS
Talking about turbo gaskets; where can I find a good set of gaskets for my turbo set up. I want something nice and thick for a decent price :-\

Re:GASKETS
I took a turbo apart (from an automatic talon td04) a few weeks ago and it had a gasket in between the housing and the flange. When i helped my friend with his turbo kit we just baught a couple of sheets of gasket material I think from a hardware store and made our own. Hope that helps.

Re:GASKETS
I got some "thermaseal" or something like that gasket material from a "rubber and gasket" place. Look in the Yellow Pages
