Gasket between manifold and external wastegate...
Ok, I did a search on google and didn't come up with what I was looking for, but I think I seen this question asked recently...I don't remember if it was here or not, though...If you gotta flame, go ahead, won't be the first time or last...Just wonderin' if you guys used a gasket between your exhaust manifold and external wastegate(where the wastegate bolts to the flange)...I've seen somewhere before that ppl had a problem with the gasket blowing out and then having a leak because of it...I got my Tial wastegate in today(UPS ftw) and it included 2 metal gaskets...I put one in the beforementioned spot and the other between the discharge flange of my wg and my dumptube...Just wanted to make sure this would work ok or if it caused any of you fellas problems...thanx n advance...peace
It's a gasket, it should work. I (as well as some others I got the idea from) run Copper Sealent and it seems to hold alright; however I noticed what appeared to be a little leakage so I just lathered up around it. Copper Spray your gasket next time maybe...

Alot of people done even use a gasket for the wastgate because they just blow my buddy never did and he never had any problems wiht leaks or anything i dont know 1 person that does use one for a wastgate
I used the included stainless gasket with my ssauto WG, otherwise you get more than enough sealing pressure from the fire ring to keep the seal. Just make sure the WG flange on the mani flat, otherwise sand is with a block.
