Re: garret idetfication numbers

That's one small turbo:

Turbo OE No: 452068-0001
Turbo Model: TB2531
Turbine Wheel Inducer Diameter: 53
Turbine Wheel Exducer Diameter: 41.7
Turbine Wheel Blades: 11
Compressor Wheel Exducer Diameter: 54
Compressor Wheel Inducer Diameter: 41.8
Compressor Wheel Blades: 5/5 Split
Turbine Housing AR: 0.49

it's going to spool quickly, but top out just as fast. I hope you diden't pay more than $40 for it.

A turbo Honduh is a toy. Buy another car and decide which one you want as a daily driver.

No, a turbo Honda is a toy is how it works.

My beater is a 290K mile 1989 DX that I got lightly hit in the front end for free. I beat the bumper cover and bumper support out with a hammer, put a freebie lightly dented up wrong color hood on it which I later replaced with a freebie dented up right color hood, and outright told a friend he was giving me the radiator out of a perfectly good car he hadn't driven in two weeks. I dropped $38 in AC belt, o-rings, and R-134a to fix the AC. 70K later I'm still beating along in it, and have less than $200 in it, and by the time I have as much money in it as I have in one of the turbos sitting in my closet it should be 350K+.

Take it from an old man, stop ------- around and set things up so you can enjoy a turbocharged toy with no stress and no regrets.
