the manifold is xsshit and the wastegate is tial knock off.. ive never checked about the wastgate maybe leaking. ill check that, would it leak idling or what?

 

im guessing you manifold is either.
1. warped enough to make it leak
2. has shitty china welds that like to leak.
3. both

i have has an ssac manifold. lay the manfold flange on a flat surface to see if it even sit level( mine didnt sit level) and haha like he said the manifold prolly has hoes by the collector (mine leaked like crazy and then when the brases broke it leaked worse.) and most knock off tials leak when they are at idle.. if it does im betting that thats your problem.
take the dump tube off and feel for air and rev it. but dont burn your damn hands. or use flour haha if your wastegate leaks at all it will take a lot longer to build boost.

btw find a new manifold and tial best bet those wont last you long mani will break and waste gate will stick.. haha happens to a lot of guys on here.

just get a "HF" manifold and get a adapter, should only cost 70ish bucks

 

because he has a turbo that needs to be externally gate fo.

 

he can still go external with an hf manifold ,,,foo.

 

haha you proved me wrong thats pretrty damn sik i like it but.. why haha.. unless he can do the fabing himself. you can pick up a cast manifold for t3's dirt cheap anymore..or a log.

 

hf manifold costs 40 dollas.
adapter plate cost 50 new, 40 used.
thats 90 dollars.
try to find a manifold for less than that.
and, a ported hf outflows a log.
