Can an intank fuel pump from an Eclipse turbo or any other turbo vehicle be use as a inline fuel pump for 88-91 honda crx????

i seen a guy use a pump from a 5.0 mustang. i dont see y it wouldnt work. ???

i have one from a fi mustang, all you have to do it change the fittings on the hoses. and probably make a bracket or soemthing.

no, they are intank pumps... thepump on my crx is inline though. idon't know what they are on 88+

If we're talking 88 - 91 Civic/CRX I believe they are all in-tank.

As for the "Mustang" pumps, ya, that's a common swap. Putting a Mustang fuel pump on a Honda.. better flow, and cheap.

to answer your question.. No you really cant, I dont know if you have seen a intank pump, but they are different than inline ones, they dont have the special fittings.

I got my Walbro 255lph in last week but I'm pissed (more like lazy) that I have to drop my tank to put it in. So, it's sitting in a box.. brand new, unused.. ::sigh::
