Fuck Ebay Downpipes!

I was im the process of installing my turbo, when i check out the downpipe and it was completly off, they are way off i dont know for what car they were made but dont buy one of those pieces of ----... you will need to cut and reweld it at different angles and its stainless... so worth the trouble ?? i dont think so it made me so mad after working on my car for a couple of hours and then seeing that it didnt fit. What a piece of ----!! >:(

Thats always nice. GD ching chong ---- never fails to fail at everything.

im gonna go to a muffler shop so they can weld everything up cuz i dont have all the tools necessary to do that

you have to match some CDM parts together. the angle of the DP flange on the turbo is different than a garrett turbo. the pattern is the same, but its slightly rotated. you have to use a CDM turbo with a CDM downpipe. or modify it, which is why i dont sell downpipes. by the time you modify it, you could have just made one

did you really expect it to work. there are alot of variables like phillstubbs said. the angle of the flange and even the angle the manifold sets the turbo at will throw all that off. only time i would expect an egay dp to works is with an egay turbo and egay manifold

The key words here: "you could have just made one"

I didn`t even start putting turbo kits on cars till I got a cheap welder to do exhaust with...a welder is WORTH EVERY PENNY.

im planning on redoing my whole downpipe once i get rid of my cdm turbo.

hatchdx-si 04-28-2009 12:51 PM

I think that`s a good idea. It can be done for resonably cheap if you have the materials.
