Front Mount Pics With Questions

Default Front Mount Pics With Questions

Ok guys I mounted my intercooler this morning and Im liking what I see... I want it to sit back further than what it is now...

here is how it is mounted



here is what it looks like with the bumper cover on


I want it to sit back flush with the back of the bumper cover... any ideas on what I can do?

notch an area into the bumper support to fit the intercooler.

remove the bumper support or cut it

mount it to the underside of the bumper cover, doesn't look like it would show too bad underneath

im going to try underneathe tomorrow morning... and if that doesnt work im going to try to notch a spot in the bumper support... u think a sawzall would work

i dunno, it might be just me, but im not comfortable removing that bumper support. If u have felt it, u know how well its going to help in a crash... IMO you are not even going to get any airflow up there with the front bumper, espically with end tanks like that on the greddy cooler..

Yeah its just you. That support will drop faster than an asian hooker for a $20.

its supposed to crush. thats how cars are designed. so that the car itself takes the force of the impact and NOT the drivers/passengers.
