okay so i kinda got sucked into helping my friend do his setup on his lude and i was wondering what i needed to do timing-wise..i know i need to retard it but how much?? what is a good starting point for the initial timing or how many degrees should i start off with?? hes gonna be running around 8 psi and and all hes using for management right now is an fmu and a 255lph walbro..i know everyones gonna rape me about the fmu but its not my decision and you cant change the minds of other people when its their money..some people just have to blow a motor before they learn haha..so if anyone could help me out with the timing thing that would be much appreciated..thanks again guys..

 

in general i've heard of people doing .9 degrees of retard per pound of boost(through uberdata).. on honda's i don't know if anyone uses the distro to retard timing

but i don't know much about honda tuning.

and does your friend relize that uberdata is cheaper and way better than an FMU?? talk him into selling it and getting Uberdata
