Re: fpr - do i need

Your friend has probably only used FMU's. You'll be the first in your crew to do it right. FMU's work, but they are never consistant and you don't have control over your timing. Just make sure you have all the right tools to tune your car.

Re: fpr - do i need

what tools do you mean? so skip the fpr cause i have real managment and im doin low boost or what?

Well I'm just a noob myself but Ive been researching for over a month now.I want a clear plan and parts list before I do my tubo. From what I understand.Your going to need a Wideband o2 sensor with data logging an LM1 looks pretty cool.
A laptop and an uberdata or chrome program.....Lets see a chip burner and some extra eprooms..........

You need to just go to PGMFI.org and start reading really because I don't even have it down yet and shouldn't be giving you advice like I do.

I'm going run my car on chrome. And just pay Zerolift here in Cinncinatti to tune my car.Because tuning is pretty complicated and you have everything to lose if you get it wrong

DOOD, i think u need to ask me these questions before you post, i could have told u that!! no need for a fpr, i made 206 whp on a single cam with a stock fpr, and stock fuel pump for that matter too!

Re: fpr - do i need

you don 't NEED one. you'll run just fine as it is. i'm runnin 15 psi on a stock pump, stock fpr, and dsm 450's just fine. BUT, i either need to up the fuel pressure of get bigger injectors if i wanna up the boost some more, cause mine are pretty much at their limit
