when installing an after market FPR do i need to take out the stock one? Could i inline the stock and aftermarket Fpr? because I know want to make a plate adaptor for the rail.

Re:FPR

Yes, you remove the old one.

I could only imagine the damage to the stock FPR, not to mention the actual fuel system if the settings of the stock conflict with the pressure settings of the aftermarket one.

Just do it right, and remove the stock one.

Re:FPR

Uhm, you didn't buy one to fit your fuel rail? That doesn't seem.. smart(?).

I guess you could make an adapter, though, it would have to have a NICE tight seal to not leak, and you know, catch your engine on fire. Why not just get the fuel rail that goes to the FPR that you bought, and correct the mistake? It's easier to modify a fuel rail mount setting than the FPR that goes to the rail.
