FMU size on d16z6?
Ok, i know you guys aren't fans of the FMU, and neither am i, but one of my friends gave me a vortech FMU for free and i figure for the time being until i can get my ecu chipped i'll run that. Now my question is what size or ratio plate should be i be running in this fmu? I know alot of factors dictate fuel needs, so i just want a rough estimate to start with. This is all going in my new ride a 89 hatchback with a z6 swap and a pg7 ecu since i wrecked my CRX. My turbo is a TDO5H mitsu 14b that i will be running at 5 or 6 psi, stock injectors (for obd0) and resistor box, walbro 255lph pump, and a crappy b&m fpr for now. I think the FMU has a 12:1 plate in it right now, but i'm not too sure if that's a good number to start with since i've never dealt with fmu's before. If anyone has any ideas about this, please let me know, and please...no comments about just chipping TE and be done with it, i already know that...i'm just broke and want to use what i have :P

Most people use 12:1. I'm not sure if a 10:1 would be safe(as if the 12:1 is). :P

At 5-6psi an FMU will work fine. No need to use a standalone type system for a 150whp setup.
