Re: FMU question

Is it a Vortec? I asked the same question in the engine managment section of the fourm awile back.
Google the part number stamped on the bottom of it.

Re: FMU question

How many times do you guys need to be told that FMU's are ---- unless your car is carburated go with chipping/good tuning software. in the end you save money.

Re: FMU question

Find me some one to chip my 93 Escort and I'll gladly ditch my FMU.

Re: FMU question

FMU's work fine on a cheap setup. Will help some on a low boost setup.

Not everyone has a tuner/chip burner/knowledge etc to have their ECU's chipped.......

It depends on the cars too, like his escort in this case.......

Sorry that I can't help on the real issue here, but what makes you think it's a 10:1.......if it is a knockoff it will be hard to know.
