FMU Question
 

My friend asked me question on FMU's. Could he run 440 injectors from an Eclipse with a FMU? He wants to run 7 psi on an FMU and injectors. Would he have bad idling problems or will it be normal?

use the fmu with your stock injectors.

running the stock ecu with 450cc injectors... not gonna happen, ---- it wont even idle let alone drive right. That with a FMU? ---- might as well just hardwire your injectors on 12v!

stock injectors w/ a 8:1-12:1 fmu will be ok 7-8psi

FMU and stock pump good to about 7psi. W/ a walbro, your good to about 10. Call me retarded, but Id rather rock an FMU over an AFC hack anyday; based purely on the the way the AFC fucks with your timing. (IE, run 10psi and get 0 ign retard, or run <10psi and get advanced timing over stock. Yeee haaaa!)
Come to think of it, Id rather run 450's on a CROME/Uber basemap (using the included base map functions, not some random internet tooner) than either the hack or an FMU.
