an fmu is connected after the stock fuel pressure regulator or on the return fuel line to the tank.

fmu inlet is from the stock fuel pressure regulator or return line and then the fmu outlet goes to the fuel tank. all the fmu does is restrict the fuel being sent back to the tank to raise the line pressure.
