flexpipe...bad idea for cheap charge pipes?
I saw this done on one of the projects...Yeah that car blew up in a day but that was mostly becuase of over boost + no mangment what so ever.
Would running flexpipe be an okay way to run a t25 to a zc for a short period of time? lookin at 6-7psi tuned w/ turboedit

Yeah
the zc w/ the t25?
I would like get away with as much startup cost as possible but then still have it be good. I will replace the flexpipe as soon as possible. Im sure I will beable to take care of the blow off valve with some jbweld or something like that. It will be 100% ghetto but it will still be a turbo.
I would really like to see my engine last but i want to go as cheap as possible.
The whole charge pipes shouldn't really be the cause of too much added stress by going the cheap route....The reason why that zc blew was becuase of no mangemnt + no intercooler + overboost like a ****. right? If i tune my car up right even with the flexpipe charge pipes my car should be fine?
thanks

i did mine with plastic tube until i got it working and then took it all of and used the plastic piping to make a template for my s/s pipes, so much easier than cutting up a load of s/s to make fit
I thought about doing this awhile ago myself. I'd get rubberized undercoating spray and give them a good coat or 2 once you have them bent into shape. If you're just looking for a cheap solution, radiator hose from a truck will get you pretty much any bend you need. Homedepot sells metal conduit bends that will work fine for IC piping too. Couple that with some straight pipe and some worm clamps and you're all set.
i went with a flex pipe for about a monthe then i got rid of the car but it worked good for me...just make sure you get a good seal your your exaust will sound like a swarm of bee's
