Re:flexible exhaust pipe

lol, you probably could, but I don't know how well that ---- will hold up to pressure? Try it and let us know. ;)

Actually, I think you're right. I think one of Jeffs first setups he used that ---- as charge piping.

Re:flexible exhaust pipe

check my thread. i used it. i do have a minor boost leak, but i think its the coupler, not the pipe.

it will work man.

Re:flexible exhaust pipe

do it right the first time, ---- flex pipe- too hard, be like me and run hot tub tubeing, it's easyer to run then flex pipe :P

you can do it if u want, but why not just use some regular bends?

if this guy is like me, in town, they want $60 for a crush bent pipe. my bends came from autozone, $8 a peice. -the flex pipe is working great ;)

Re:flexible exhaust pipe

hmmm now i think i'm gonna give it a try. i mean it should hold 8 or 9 psi. lol hot tub tubeing. well whatever works. i'm on a budget i'm just lookin for whats cheap and works. thanks for the info guys.

Re:flexible exhaust pipe

I thought about doing that a long time ago and figured if you spray the flexpipe with rubber undercoating to seal any possible leaks, it should work fine. I never tried it though.

What is the diameter of the hot tub tubing and where did you pick it up....Lowe's or Home Depot? I thought about using some as well but didn't think it was large enough.

That is a little crazy. Go look at bends on tunertoys and jcwhitney. You will pay $10 a bend or so. That isn't too much money to do it right.

Re:flexible exhaust pipe

your right, but what i did, i dont mind. i do think there is a bit more lag because of the bends, but im not to upset about it. it gives me room to improve the set-up. :D
