Flex Pipe for DP

Ok, lets try this again since my last topic I tried on this got deleted. Will flexible exhaust pipe work for a downpipe. I dont plan on making the dp with enitrely flex pipe, but for the bend would it work? I am running short on piping.

if it's the cheap crap from autozone, it might now last you a long time, it rusts pretty quick and its not very thick. It's almost worth your time to order a U bend from jcwhitney, that should make almost all of your dp, it did mine.

That flex section is uber-ghetto... will it work? yes it will

However if you wanna do it right the first time, just get one of these babys

50 bucks and weld it either in your downpipe or right after the downpipe (in your exhaust)
