First time homemade turbo questions

Me and my friend got a bright idea today, too turbocharge his sohc D16A6. We took his exhaust mainfold off of his 97 honda civic HX with the cat apart of the exhaust mainfold cut it and bolted it to a TDO4 Mitisubishi turbocharger. So far we have the turbocharger connected to the mainfold a bolted on the head all we have to do is make the downpipe which is ------ simple.
My questions are this, we want to know how much boost we can run without blowing the motor(we don't have a stand alone fuel managment system) yeah we are cheap.
Also what could we do to get more fuel like putting in the 550 cc mitisubishi injectors, bore out the fuel rail, better fuel pump would the be enough fuel for like 5psi or 7psi?
What other problems will we run into and do you have any suggestions on what we can do to help in not blowing this thing up and cheap as in under $300 dollars.
Thanks a lot for any help you can give me.

the engine can take 10psi but with a good fuel management. i don't think, with just 550 cc injectors, you will bwe correct. on the idle, with 550 cc injector, you will run too rich . don't be too cheap and buy a good fuel management because, is you try to make the cheaper kit, the engine will blow in 2 or 3 month. ask to Jeff, he have a lot of experience. :) :D

Alright ill think about, we really don't care if the motor blows anyways. Could you also help me out on the oil lines i was just woundering on were do i tap in on the oil, the oil pressure unit? and what does this "t-vavle" look like that i am suppose-to use? Thanks again.

not a good idea at all! engine management is everything. try using 92 srv injectors with resistor box for obd1, msd regulator and btm. you'd be surprised how much boost you can run, usually about 8-10psi. be cheap and KABLOOEY. happy boosting

you can tap the oil supply line to the turbo by placing a "T" on the oil pressure sensor, which is above the oil filter. Place the oil drain/return line to the somewhat high on oil pan wall, to ensure that oil does not sit on the hose when the engine is not running.
