my buddy recomended this fourm when it comes to building on a budget maybe you guys can help me. i wanna put a lil boost in my 1.6 sohc how much am i should i be looking to spend?????

welcome to HMT. Read some FAQ and then ask questions... You can spend anywhere from a couple hundred bucks to a couple thousand depending on what you want to do and what your goals are and how ghetto you want to be. Look around and see what others have done and then ask them abou it. Most people are more than willing to share with you their experiences but some people will be @$$es if you just ask them to do it for you (as is life!).

Like I said it just depends on how ghetto, what your funds are, what are your goals?

Well this one is about summed up before I got to it.

Research your way around, get familiar with some tools (or someone who has them). Have access to a welder and be willing to fabricate ----. Research first, then post your questions, we'll answer them quickly.
