finishing up my boosey project. couple questions.

ok, almost done with my setup. heres a few questions i have.

-i am missing one bolt that connects the top of the wg on, will this pose a problem??

-My precision 440's wont fit into the d16a6 im/fuel rail, what do i have to do to make them fit? even without the grommets/o rings they still seem too long??

-is it necesary that i get an oil restricter??

-before i start my car once its done is there anything i do to insure no damage?

-when i relocated my battery to the back i simply ran the positive terminal straight from where the positive terminal is in the engine bay and used the spare tire threads as a ground in the back, is this alright??

help would be cool. Thanks

1. No. Unless you plan to up the boost, then you need the banjo bolt in order to hook your boost controller to.
2. Make sure you got the right injectors for your motor. A friend of mine had problems with Precision's that were too long for his b17...turned out they sent the wrong ones.
3. Yes...you should run a restrictor regardless. Especially if it's a chinese turbo. And if it is a cdm turbo, make sure you hold the compressor wheel when you first start it to prime the turbo.
4. Just make sure all your fluids are set and you have a good basemap ready to rock and roll. Then listen for funny noises and don't beat on the car until you're completely tuned.
5. It's kinda shady, but it may work ok. I drilled a hole through the body and cleaned all the surrounding paint off completely until I saw shiny metal, then bolted the negative terminal to the car and soldered the terminal to the body with a torch.

ok cool. but the bolt on the wg i was wtalking about is one that holds the top on, not the one that the mbc connects to.

and these precision 440's came off a boosted b16 crx, so they should fit the d series somehow correct??

Have you tried greasing them up a bit and pushing? Thats all I needed for my 450's

No oil resrictor you dont NEED, but youll ruin your turbo a hell of a lot faster without one, theres a thread on the uppage in this forum about that

If you're really worried about the bolt, go to the hardware store and find a replacement one.

They should. Did you try boring out the rubber seals on the intake? Or try the grease like was said and use the rail as you're tightening it down to help push them in.

You have to have SOME kind of oil restrictor, especially on CDM turbos.
