Pics kinda blurry, but from what I can see your car looks really good. Not riced at all. Just clean factory body, and a more agressive stance with an fmic hanging out. That's how I like my car(s) to be as well. The motor looks pretty good too. IB that car is a perfect daily driver at the 10psi and has enough cuts to freighten the average 5.0 Mustang. I may getting rid of my 2G Eclipse turbo and looking for a CRX or HF to build/boost, and really like how your car looks. Clean factory is way better than hacked aftermarket exterior anyday. Hook up your AFC for sure though, but I can't talk because I've got a gay ass a/f ratio gauge in my pillar pod that I haven't replaced yet, and that's more rice than an unhooked AFC anyday rofl.

shitty 42/48 t3 for now but actually pulls pretty damn good through all gears and rpms. spins 1st, 2nd, then finally will kinda get traction in 3rd. like i said plan to upgrade later. no vids for now but in the process....

the afc is hooked up but it does nothing but make the interior look good. TE controlls all my fuel and timing needs ;)

Built D FTW!!! I love nice clean CRXs. I want to buy one despretly to turbo this winter, but my parents will throw me out if I buy another vehicle. lol, I've already got a 98 civic and a 94 4runner.

that ---- is good. but that motor should be able to handle more than 10lbs. I am planning on running 10 lbs on my semi stock z6.

hey thanks guys!!! Props to HMT for motivating me to rebuild the motor when it blew or ---- even want to go turbo to begin with!!! try to keep it clean and simple thats my JdM style Yo!!!! lol The car can definalty handle more boost and a bigger turbo but money's tight. plus i need a bigger map sensor, wideband and more knowledge on how to tune this baby!
block guard was actually custom fabbed by a shop here in town. they told me that that cylinder is the one that happens to always run leaner/hotter....dont know if thats true or not but havent had any heating problems so its all good..... yea eveyone tells me i pretty much have one of the cleanest crx's theyve ever seen. bought it from a old man leaving overseas for military few years ago.....was a mint condition car with cold ass AC til i got my hands on it then starting chopping away for HMT!!! >:D did i mention a got it for $2000 mint!! |

Never heard of that before? But that is where my HG blew on my A6 after a mile of redline in 5th gear approx 130. I would think the blockgaurd should be perfectly matched to the holes in the HG.

i was thinking either a nice n big t3/t4 or ---- if i can afford it like a gt28/gt30 turbo of some sort :y with a better manifold. tune the mother lover with bigger map sensor n run like 15-20psi :6 :6 :6

hey got a question since i'm here, what is the main purpose of a catch can? is it really necesary for all turbo cars boosting hard?? i know it helps with crank case pressure....just want to get a little more info on it. too lazy to search even though i know its probably easy to find ::)

As far as turbo hondas go, its a sleeper, the HF mani would throw people off and think its another low boost set up. And yes get a catch can or at least address the PCV set up.

I have a very similer set up running 8psi and i ran 9 flat at 82mph in the 1/8th. THATS WITH FUEL CUTTING LIKE A BITCH DUE TO A LEAK IN MY FUEL LINE

I thought that was my car when I first opened it up. I like it. I really like the turbo setup. So clean and stock looking as far as the mani down. I am sure most people wouldn't even notice if there wasn't a BOV sitting right there in plain sight. Nice work.

yeah pretty stealth. i want to paint my charge pipes flat black how i used to have them before. i like your rex too!!! nice n clean. Emerge......... :-X never liked those guys but yeah their still around. i dont really like any of the shops here around town...all stuck up n everyone tells you how to build your motor the way they want....not how i want!! one shop did help me though only cuz the mechanic there is one of the best in town as far as honda motor building
