Car looks alright, but I hate the back lights and bumper crap. Its hard to see in the vid but are you preloading before you lunch? It look like you where just droping the clutch and going; slipping it would have given you a better 60'.

 

Nice work.What kind of 60's are you getting with the current slicks?I just watched the first vid but im assuming you are in P.R?

 

I´m preloading. and the car is going for a paint job.

better 60 fts 1.88, spinning a lot, on 22x8x13 slicks, I´ll put some 24.5x8x13 next weekend, hopes this will fix the bad 60 ft´s.

I´m in Reynosa, Mexico, In the border with Texas.

 

get your bigger tires and heat the tires good and definitely need to slip the clutch a little.

 

Not bad. The 22" are more of a n/a slick, 24' should help a ton.

 

How much power does that car make ?

I think you have plenty in that car the way it sits to go 11's.

When you shift like that, the car torques back and forth. Making you spin more than you need to in 2nd gear.
Shifting better alone will get you 11's.

Plenty of MPH for it.

Also without going up in power I see the 24.5's being overkill.

the water box is to get the slicks wet, not keep em soaked. pull through the water box, and do a burn out on dry. that may help your 60' a little as well... i didnt watch the whole video, but im assuming you continue to sit in the water and burn out.

 

I burn in the box in 2nd gear and leave the box full throttle through the dry. I stop barely just before the line.

They come out dry and sticky as hell.

Open diff 1.68's. Old *** 23's.
