finally got some toyota supra piston

Like the pst said i got some supra pistons from the 1g-gte engine and they're 75mm as said but i have'nt got to do any measurements as yet pertaining to the matching of the b16 rods 2 the pistons. So i'll keep u guys posted on my progress.I'm in jamaica so the piston r not hard to get because most of our car r jdm models here, i just need to do a little diggin

wow i didnt know JDM models were in Jamica.!! thats awesome. you could make an A$$ load of money if you gatherd parts and shiped them to the states.

does the ports on those pistons line up with the head valve ports of a d-series? if they do it would be a very good idea to use them since they would be cheap forged and nearly identical ...

do you mean the valve reliefs?? you also have to check compression height.. you cant just throw any piston that matches the bore in and expect it to work.

Turbopanda was the user on HT who used to sell them, not sure if he still does. But yes they do work, only modification needed is notch the block just like using eagle rods. ;)

Malcom, if you can, could you grab and post the part#s?

I don't know about Hondas, but with Toyotas, if you know the part numbers, a lot of dealerships can get you anything you want, even if it's not in the EPC.

u guys r joking

Most if if not all cars in jamaica r jdm models there r only a few usdm in jamaica ,people here dont like USDM vehicles.
but i'm really serprised how u people go crazy for jdm parts, what we throw away here.I drive a 97 jdm civic coupe with a jdm d15b vtec engine, with a evo intercooler,t3 48 turbine 60compressor 10psi with greddy blue box ,no dyno numbers yet though!but i haven't got anymore time 2 match the supra pistons to the b16 rods but i know i have to make bushings for the rods so that the pin will fit properly,i will be checking to see which bearings i'm going to use.i noticed the the bearings r a bit narrow 4 the b16 rods i wonder if that would be a problem?"ANYBODY INPUT" PLEASE
