i remember reading somewhere that the larger the gap between the weights of oil, the wors the oil is for your turbo. something along the lines of the stuff in the oil that makes it multigrade makes the turbo more likely to fail.

oil is oil tho, and every car that is in our family is over 150k. i always use valvoline maxlife, and haven't really had a problem

why would high compression and a turbo not like eachother?

you'll be fine as long as you tune it correctly and run the proper timing. maybe some higher octane wouldnt hurt.

What I want to know is where he got those bling bling ching chong charge pipes (say that 5 times fast). Looks like they actually fit pretty good and my ricer side likes the chrome versus the mild steel look.

I'm not saying that it's impossible to run high compression and a turbo, it's just that the higher the compression the less margin you have for error. Remmeber The SSautoshit GSR hatch jeff did? I know he didn't know the CTR pistons were in there but still. 2nd pull it let loose.
