what motor, what gear ratios are in the tranny, how many gears do you have, whats the overall size of the wheel tire combo, whats the weight of the car, how are you running it 1/4 or 1/8th

Sorry bro.
Not sure about individual gear ratio's.
Weight of the car is around 2500 lbs.
Tires will be 205x55r15.
No 1/4 or 1/8 mile times yet. Heard stuff that the final drive will dictate how fast you can go on the 1/4 mile. My question is very general.
Will a close gear ratio tranny work better or not?
