filter on compressor side

Default filter on compressor side

can i put mesh stuff over the intake part of the turbo instead of running a turbo i see some people leave it open but i dont want ---- getting in there and if i put mesh over it can i still run my oil catch can vaccuum hose to the mesh stuff or will it not get as good suction?

mesh will work fine but not as a pre turbo for the catch can

i advise to use the filter for tubine longevity and retained use of the pcv

I used some metal windscreen from a hardware store once. not all of it is metal so be careful.

wouldnt just a regular k&n horn filter work?

i think it would melt maybe if u going to connect it to a high temp reducer like im going to do

Not to jack this thread, but I was wondering on my 48/60, there is no lip for the filter and I don't have a lot of room where I can connect an elbow or something of that nature, so what would guys recommend I do? Can I just slide something over the while compressor housing?

so i cant hook my oil catch can to the pre turbo intake if im using mesh is there anywhere else i could hook it up besides my exaust
