I am puting a turbo kit together for my 93 Civic EX. So far I have these pieces from a 97 GSX: turbo, bov, injectors, and IC piping. I have the IC from a 1G Eclipse (fits perfectly in the fender) and a MBC. I was wondering (cause it's not mentioned) what you guys are using as an air filter. Is it just mesh with a clamp or what?? Thanks for any replies.
Oh... heres my car if anyone is interested. http://www.cardomain.com/id/redhondacivic69 |

Re: Filter
some people just run it open, or with a mesh screen. filter would be safest though.

Re: Filter
HAHA you got a ticket for ricey exhaust!!
And I'm glad to see your coming to the world of boost, maybe you'll throw out the LED Shift Knob. But really, I ran a screen for a whole season with no problems but this season I making a custom intake out of so mandrel bend and using a K&N. |
Re: Filter
I got the ticket dropped. I just said that it was on there when I bought it. And I mentioned that I am always followed and "harassed" whenever I'm in Bend. She was afraid of a lawsuit. Hell ya I'm boostin it.

Re: Filter
I was using a cheap APC cone filter from autozone... Doesn't fit anymore, so I'm using a cheap APC mushroom sponge thing from autozone. That thing barely fits either. :-\
