a few questions
Would too small of a turbine wheel cause power to drop off substantially or simply flatten out? I have a t3/t4 already in place and I'm using a t4 cojmpressor with a .60 a/r and a t3 turbine with a .63 housing except the wheel is the same as the one from a .48 housing. I switchedc cuz I noticed that my power was really dropping off with the .48 housing (and stage 3 wheel) so I got a .63 on there with the same wheel. Power still seems to be flattening out...actually dropping off when vtec kicks in.
secondly, Does anyone know the procedure for clipping a turbo? I am familiar of the basics of it, but which part of the turbine wheel are you actually shaving off?? finally, What is involved with a major tune up? I have put about 100K km on my engine and I am due for some major maintenence, what things do I need to change? Oil pump, water pump etc. |

plugs wires, valve adjustment, compression check. Ever done a timing belt? can't hurt. Could do water pummp at the same time too.
